At the Nintendo 3DS conference held today, Capcom surprisingly revealed that the next Monster Hunter will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS! If the footage shown were truly gameplay footage, it looks truly astonishing. And this announcement was done after they revealed the sales date for Monster Hunter 3G in Japan, 10th December 2011.
The latest offering from Sunrise, the first episode of Sacred Seven is pretty solid. While it isn’t out of the world awesome, the plot held some promises and the action quite enjoyable if standard.
I have been a fan of Every Little Thing for quite a long time, so finding out that their songs will be used for the upcoming Pokemon movie is really good news. There are two new Pokemon movies coming at the same time to double the profit , so naturally there will be two new theme songs. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find the song for the Pokemon Zekrom movie, titled 響 -こえ (Koe). The above clip is for the Pokemon Reshiram, titled 宙 -そら- (Sora).
This year is also the 15th anniversary for Every Little Thing, hope they will reach their 30th anniversary one day!
Asuka Oogame, the seiyuu for Erio, cosplayed the main girl from Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. The futon even made an appearance! I think she looks as good as it can possibly gets for a blue haired real girl. As seen in animage.
The second nendoroid launched by the Good Smile Company for their Cheerful Japan campaign is from Nico Nico Douga’s web browser RPG game, Puchitto Rock Shooter (It’s free, but need to have an account to play).
Finally the wait is over! This fall, the final season, titled Shakugan no Shana III (Final). Reportedly more information will be available on Dengeki Bunko Magazine which is on sale from today, but there does not seem to be any words yet on how long this final season is going to be. Takashi Watanabe will be back as the director.
This fall’s anime lineup is shaping up to a very promising season indeed.
Just watched this when I am going through some of the PVs for the upcoming summer animes, and I initially thought there is going to be a live-action dorama for this as well. While that is not the case (the setting is also in primary school, so any dorama would not feature the seiyuus), the idea for the promotional video is nice nevertheless.
It seems surreal that the anime adaptation was announced literally days after I bought the book. After finished reading it, I feel the story is quite good despite the unavoidable cast of cliche characters.
I just found out there will be a new Fullmetal Alchemist movie after the release of the new trailer recently. After the grand finish of the anime TV series, the movie apparently won’t expand on what happens afterwards as the events in it will take place between volume 7 and 13 in the manga. Reportedly, it will also be an anime original story.
While the story probably won’t be as epic as the second TV series, hopefully it will be good enough. The good news ist that the new character shown in the clip, Julia Crichton will be played by the legendary Maaya Sakamoto. While the movie will be released in theatres in less than two months in Japan on 2 July 2011, the DVDs & Bluray probably won’t be released until the end of the year at the very least…
