To promote the Steins;Gate anime, the Cure Maid Cafe (キュアメイドカフェ) in Akihabara was converted into a Steins;Gate cafe. At the opening day, Momoi Haruko visited the cafe dressed as Feiris Nyannyan, the character she is voicing.
When you order from the event original menu, a Steins;Gate trading card and tin badge were also given out for free.
When interviewed, Momoi Haruko says that she had always wanted to cosplay as Feiris Nyannyan since she got the role, so she is quite happy to be able to have the opportunity to do it in Akihabara. Regarding the cafe itself, she thinks the menu are quite interesting for those who are familiar with the game and anime.
Bad news for those of you who wants to visit this particular cafe for the Steins;Gate theme though, it’s too late because the cafe only held the promotion event from 25th March to 3rd April. There are however, a number of other cafes throughout Tokyo that has these collaboration until the middle next month.
